Refr Terms of Use
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Refr mobile application and website at tigerrecruits.com, operated by Rahvita Solutions (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter a binding agreement. All information you provide must be accurate and complete.
2. The Refr Platform
Refr is a crowdsourced recruitment platform where Referrers earn bonuses for successfully placing candidates with Employers. Refr acts as an intermediary and does not guarantee employment outcomes or bonus payments where an Employer fails to fulfil obligations.
3. Account Registration
- Register using a valid email address
- One account per person — multiple accounts are not permitted
- You are responsible for all activity under your account
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access
4. Referral Rules
4.1 Eligible Referrals
- Only refer candidates who have given you explicit consent
- You must have genuine prior knowledge of the candidate’s abilities
- You may not refer yourself or immediate family members
4.2 Prohibited Referrals
- Fabricated or fictitious candidates
- Candidates who have not consented
- Self-referrals under any name or alias
- Duplicate referrals for the same role
- AI-generated notes that do not reflect genuine knowledge of the candidate
5. Referral Bonuses
- Bonuses are paid upon successful hire and completion of the onboarding period
- Referrers receive the referral bonus as stated on each job listing upon successful hire confirmation
- Payouts are processed within 30 days of Employer confirmation
- Bonuses may be withheld or reclaimed where fraud or breach of Terms is discovered
- You are solely responsible for declaring and paying applicable taxes on earnings
6. AI-Powered Features
AI outputs are suggestions only. You are responsible for verifying AI-generated content before submission. You must not submit AI-generated referral notes that do not accurately reflect genuine knowledge of the candidate.
7. Prohibited Conduct
- Using the Platform for any unlawful purpose
- Submitting false, misleading, or fraudulent referrals
- Manipulating XP, leaderboards, or reward systems
- Reverse-engineering, scraping, or copying the Platform
- Uploading malicious code or harmful content
- Creating fake profiles or impersonating others
- Circumventing any security or fraud-detection measures
8. Intellectual Property
All content, code, trademarks, and logos (including the Refr hummingbird mascot) belong to Rahvita Solutions. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive licence to use the Platform for its intended purposes only.
9. Disclaimers
THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, that any referral will result in employment, or that any bonus will be paid by an Employer.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rahvita Solutions shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the total bonuses paid to you in the preceding 12 months or ₹10,000, whichever is greater.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms. You may delete your account via Profile → Delete Account. Pending bonuses for completed hires will still be processed after termination.
12. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes shall first be resolved amicably, then via binding arbitration in Bengaluru under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. EU/UK users retain all statutory rights under applicable consumer protection law.
