Refr (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is operated by Rahvita Solutions. We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your information when you use our mobile application and website (collectively, the “Platform”).
This policy complies with the GDPR (EU/UK), CCPA/CPRA (California, USA), DPDPA 2023 (India), PDPA (Singapore/Thailand), Privacy Act (Australia), and other applicable regional laws.

2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide
- Account information: full name, email, phone number, city, country
- Professional information: LinkedIn URL, current role, seniority, experience, industry
- Profile photo (avatar)
- Referral information: candidate names, emails, phone numbers, LinkedIn profiles, referral notes, resumes
- Payment information: UPI ID, bank account details, PayPal or Wise email (for payouts only)
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Device information: device type, OS, unique identifiers
- Usage data: pages viewed, features used, referral activity, XP earned
- FCM token for push notifications
- Log data: IP address, timestamps
- Cookies and similar tracking technologies
3. How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage your account
- To process referrals and match candidates to jobs
- To calculate and process referral bonuses and payouts
- To send push notifications, job alerts, and weekly digests
- To display your Refr Score, XP, badges, and leaderboard ranking
- To power AI referral features and fraud detection
- To comply with legal obligations
- To improve our services through analytics
Legal bases (GDPR Art. 6): Contractual necessity, legitimate interests, legal obligation, and consent.
4. Sharing Your Information
We do not sell your personal data. We may share with:
- HR Companies: candidate information for the purpose of the referral
- Service Providers: Supabase, Firebase, Resend, Anthropic, payment processors — all bound by data processing agreements
- Legal Authorities: where required by law or court order
- Business Transfers: in the event of a merger or acquisition
5. Candidate Data
When you refer a candidate, you confirm that the candidate has consented to their information being shared with us and the hiring company. Candidates may contact admin@tigerrecruits.com to access, correct, or delete their information.
6. Data Retention
- Account data: active period + 3 years after closure
- Referral records: 7 years (financial compliance)
- Resumes: 6 months after referral resolution, then deleted
- Push tokens: deleted on logout
- Log data: 90 days
7. Your Rights
All users may: access their data, request correction or deletion, request portability, and withdraw consent.
GDPR (EU/UK): Right to restriction, objection, and lodging complaints with your DPA.
CCPA (California): Right to know, opt-out of sale (we don’t sell), and non-discrimination.
DPDPA (India): Right to nominate a representative and grievance redressal within 72 hours.

8. International Data Transfers
Data may be transferred internationally. For EEA/UK transfers we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs). For India we comply with DPDPA 2023 cross-border provisions.
9. Security
We implement TLS/SSL encryption, Row-Level Security on all databases, biometric lock and screenshot prevention on the app, webhook signature verification, CSP headers, and regular security audits.
10. Cookies
We use cookies for essential operation, analytics, and security. You may control cookies via browser settings.
11. Children’s Privacy
Refr is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. Contact admin@tigerrecruits.com to report any concern.
12. AI-Powered Features
Refr uses Anthropic Claude for resume screening, referral writing, candidate scoring, fraud detection, and job recommendations. AI outputs are recommendations only. You have the right to request human review of any AI-based assessment.
13. Changes to This Policy
We will notify you of material changes via push notification, website banner, and by updating the “Last Updated” date. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
